1. How many years have you been a teacher and how long have you been in wellness industry?
I have been teaching yoga since my certificatiin in 2019
2. What inspired you to become a teacher and join our boutique studio?
Yoga has been my path to inner freedom and I love to share & inspire others on their journeys
3. Where did you complete your training? Share how does your international background influence your teaching style (if any)?
I did my Vinyasa teacher training with the Nieuwe Yoga School in Amsterdam, wonderful place full of authentic inspiration.
My 8 spoken languages help me to find connection with people of many different origins.
4. What do you love most about teaching? How do you make your classes enjoyable & effective for clients?
When taking the teachers seat, I automatically slow down and move into a ‘serving’ mode, where my whole intention is be there for the students and make it a worthy time for them.
5. What’s a favorite moment from your teaching career that always makes you smile?
Years ago a lady from the neighbourhood who joined yoga (i offered for free in the local community center) for the first time in het life came up to me after the class. She said that she finally could breath and have peaceful moments in her life. It nearly made me cry, as this is why i’m doing it.
6. Share a fun/wow fact about yourself or a hidden talent that might surprise our clients or add a unique flavor to your classes.
I sometimes add mantra singing to my classes, accompanied by my ukulele
